The Demo Tapes: Year 1
Dawn at She is Too Fond of Books has a great giveaway going on right now. She's very excited about it, in fact. So excited she's posted a picture tempting me to tip my hand about an upcoming adventure I have on my horizon.

I've been hearing talk of this. The Red Leather Diary, a book that was purportedly found in a trash can.
Lily Koppel, the author, is lucky enough to see this book make the jump from hardback to paperback, and Dawn at She is Too Fond of Books has five copies to rave about. And share; after all, you only need one to rave.

She Is Too Fond Of Books has found what she thinks is a good personal memoir. She has a copy of Charlise Lyles' Do I Dare Disturb the Universe to give away. Charlise was raised in the projects of Cleveland, was taught a love of learning and reading from her (absent) father and eventually attended Smith College.

Outliers audio
Dawn is entirely too fond of books. She is. That's good news for us bibliophiles, though, because now she's got three copies of Outliers -- in audio form. Written by Malcolm Gladwell, this book has been making the rounds. And if you've needed something to listen to during your morning commute (because, let's face it, morning radio is aimed at people who use fewer brain cells than us readers do), check out Dawn's give.

The Safety of Secrets
Well, this contest has been a best-kept secret around here, huh? Dawn at She is Too Fond of Books e-mailed me last week, but it was such a busy week offline that it got buried in my inbox.
However, this secret is out. Dawn's got another week for you guys to step up and enter a contest for her gently read paperback copy of The Safety of Secrets, written by Delaune Michel.
The contest is open world-wide, although Dawn reserves the right to use the cheapest shipping method she can find. These days, that might be accompanying someone on their way to visit your country! (well, it'll be cheap for her, but not the person travelling. Whatever.)
