Breathing Out the Ghost
She Is Too Fond of Books is giving away 3 copies of Breathing Out the Ghost by Kirk Curnutt.
This is a powerful "noir thriller" about how people respond/cope when every parent's nightmare comes true - their child disappears or is murdered. The characters are well-developed, the plot intense, and the writing superb. Read her review here.

Thursday's Thoughts
Edna Parker was the Great Grandmother of Kirk Curnutt, the author of Breathing Out The Ghost. Up until recently (11/26/08), Edna was the world’s documented oldest living person and such a treasure to their family. Kirk penned a character after her in the amazing novel Breathing Out The Ghost. This week’s Thursday’s Thoughts is in honor of Edna Parker. As such, the prize for the weekly MEME/Contest is a personalized, signed copy of Breathing Out The Ghost.

Breathing Out the Ghost
Serena, at Savvy Verse and Wit, has a copy of Breathing out the Ghost, written by Kirk Curnutt.
No. Wait. Scratch that.
She's got Kirk Curnutt stopping in to answer some questions and give away THREE copies of his book, Breathing out the Ghost.
This is a worldwide contest. Thanks to Serena and Kirk for opening their coffers to afford some exorbitant mailing costs!
Be sure to read the interview. Serena's got some great questions, and as a writing instructor, Mr. Curnutt has some very insightful answers.
You have until January 17. Don't waste it; this looks like one important book.

Breathing Out the Ghost
Anna, over at Diary of an Eccentric, has THREE copies of Breathing out the Ghost, written by Kirk Curnutt, to share -- and an interview! (A really good interview; Mr. Curnutt gives great answers.)
It sounds like there might be some content in here that's a bit hard to swallow. Be sure to read Anna's review carefully to see if this is something you'd want to read. (But I suspect the bad guy gets his in the end. Isn't that how the best books end?)
The contest is open world-wide until January 12.
