Clearing the Shelves

Now Serena at Savvy Verse and Wit has the cleaning bug. Do you guys think it's spring or something? (it's 65 degrees as I type this. That's warm for West of Mars in February. VERY warm.) She's citing Valentine's Day as the reason; she's sharing some book love.

I like that.

Serena's got some fun books that ought to be in high demand. Ready for her list?

1. Plum Lucky by Janet Evanovich

2. The Memorist by M.J. Rose

3. The Sinner's Guide to Confession by Phyllis Schieber. This one is gently used.

4. 2 Copies of Plum Lovin' by Janet Evanovich.

There are links to her reviews of everything but Plum Lovin, which will be up shortly. And there are multiple and easy ways to win, including telling her where you saw this contest. Go on and drop my name. I like seeing it in print.

You have until ... there's nothing listed! So act fast!

Here's the link.

The Reincarnationist

Lenore, of Presenting Lenore fame, was kind enough to drop us an e-mail on Saturday (when we were busy recovering from illnesses and nights out, among other things). It seems she's got quite the doozy of a pre-Christmas contest going on.

MJ Rose is visiting, and we all know MJ Rose doesn't do things small. That's part of her amazing success. Thus, Lenore says (in her own words):

The grand prize winner will get a two book prize pack with a paperback copy of The Reincarnationist and a hardcover copy of MJ Rose’s latest release The Memorist (which I am in the middle of now and enjoying even more). I will also give away one paperback of the Reincarnationist for every 20 people who enter the giveaway (up to 5 copies!)

So who can get in on this? ANYONE.

You see, the grand prize is restricted to the US and Canada residents only.

BUT the paperback copies can wander around the globe. It'd be better if they come directly to you, so be sure to enter -- and to spread the word.

Use this link. Lots of ways to enter, all of them good. You have until 27 December.

MJ Rose duo

The Inside Cover has more MJ Rose, including an interview. And, of course, books.

Here's what she has to say:
Two winners will each receive a paperback copy of The Reincarnationist. Two winners will receive The Memorist. And the Grand Prize winner will receive both books in the series.*

Check out that caveat -- due to lack of funds, this is a US/Canada only contest.

Use this link before November 23.

MJ Rose duo

Robert at Fantasy Book Critic has a two-fer from author MJ Rose. Her new book, The Memoirist, will be released on November 1 (Hey, that's Saturday!) and Robert has Ms. Rose's The Reincarnationist and The Memoirist to share with you. Two sets of these books, in fact.

This is a North America only contest. Sorry, gang.

Use this link. Read the rules; follow the directions... you know the drill.

The Reincarnationist

Unless you're like me and have a good friend who sent you a copy of MJ Rose's latest novel, The Reincarnationist, until now, you've had to pony up some cash for it. (Yeah, yeah, we're ignoring the whole library thing for the moment. Besides, not all countries have free libraries. That's 'cause not all countries had Andrew Carnegie.)

ANYWAY, enough of the lesson. On to the books.

MJ Rose is giving away free e-copies of The Reincarnationist, between now and October 31. There's a checkout and a free coupon code you'll have to use. But hey, it's free!
