Green Beauty Guide
Serena at Savvy Verse and Wit has a neato give going on. The Green Beauty Guide, by Julie Gabriel, is all about natural beauty. Not sure what that means? Check out Serena's post, because she's let Ms. Gabriel talk a bit about it. This is quite the interesting story, too. Be sure to check it out.

The Green Beauty Guide
Lisa at Books on the Brain is an absolute gem to have for a friend.

She dropped me an e-mail and asked me to let you guys know not only about another contest (one she's not hosting), but also about a new blogger, who's not quite found her footing yet. Lisa was hoping for some good, old-fashioned West of Mars love thrown at Amanda, who hosts Life and Times of a "New" New Yorker.
(Hey, wait a minute. I've been to her blog before!)
Anyway, Amanda's got a copy of The Green Beauty Guide, written by Julie Gabriel. I can't decide if this no-nonsense look at beauty products and our skin is scary or a must-read. Maybe it's both. All I know is that I'd sure like to read it.
