The Green Beauty Guide
Lisa at Books on the Brain is an absolute gem to have for a friend.
Know why?
She dropped me an e-mail and asked me to let you guys know not only about another contest (one she's not hosting), but also about a new blogger, who's not quite found her footing yet. Lisa was hoping for some good, old-fashioned West of Mars love thrown at Amanda, who hosts Life and Times of a "New" New Yorker.
(Hey, wait a minute. I've been to her blog before!)
Anyway, Amanda's got a copy of The Green Beauty Guide, written by Julie Gabriel. I can't decide if this no-nonsense look at beauty products and our skin is scary or a must-read. Maybe it's both. All I know is that I'd sure like to read it.
