Rock Bottom

Tara's View on Books has another copy of Rock Bottom to share. How do I know she's got ANOTHER???

'cause her first one showed up in my mailbox today. I'm already reading it, too.

If you're into rock and roll -- and who isn't, in this age of Guitar Hero and Rock Band -- you may dig this book. Or maybe I'm biased.

Anyway, come read along with me.

This One is Mine

Tara, at Tara's View on Books, is getting all the books that, I swear, ought to be coming to me. Yep, she's got ANOTHER rock and roll themed book (although I'd like to gloat about winning the last one she had!).

This one is called This One is Mine, and it was written by Maria Semple.

Tara is passing along her ARC copy, and you'll get to see first-hand why it's a good thing publishers make ARC copies... about 30 pages were bound into the book upside-down. It's been fixed in the final copy, of course, but Tara's offering you a real collector's item -- or a novelty, depending on whether or not you like the book, of course.

Check it all out via this link. You have until January 29.

Tara at Tara's View on Books deserves special recognition. She's been picking up books lately that are outside her comfort zone. Not all of them make the experiment a pleasant one, but at least she's trying.

Enter GunMetal Black, written by Daniel Serrano.

You can win Tara's copy of this book. Use this link.
