The Search
Jezebelsk at Walking on Sunshine has a cool-sounding give. The book is The Search, written by best-selling author Iris Johansen. If you've been following Johansen's Eve Duncan series, you won't want to miss this.
But fear not! If you haven't followed the series, this is a good book to pick up. Read the review at Walking on Sunshine to see why.

Death and the Language of Happiness
That's a provocative book title on the day that news of David Foster Wallace's suicide has come out.
But it's a book title nonetheless, and it's the title of a book that you can read about over at Walking on Sunshine. Jezebelsk has a copy of this mystery to share. (For those not keeping score, or who got lost: Death and the Language of Happiness, written by John Straley is the topic of this post)
Just let her know in the comments if you've been to Alaska or not, where this book is set. You have until 28 September. No mailing restrictions have been given. Hmmmm....

The Callahan Brothers Trilogy
Our friend Jezebelsk dropped us an e-mail to let us know about her latest giveaway: The Callahan Brothers Trilogy, written by JoAnn Ross.
The Callahan Brothers Trilogy is a collection of three novels, Blue Bayou, River Road and Magnolia Moon. Each focuses on the rough road to love traversed by the brothers. The book in total is close to 800 pages -- use THAT for a chunkster challenge!
Because the book is all about brothers and their relationship, Jezebelsk wants to hear about YOUR family. No specifics or names, just "I am the youngest of fourteen kids" or "I was orphaned at birth and raised by peacocks."
The contest is open worldwide and you have until September 8, but why wait?

It's Raining Cats and Dogs

Angels of Darkness
My bud jezebelsk at Walking on Sunshine has got a doozy for you.

Marvin Kaye is the brave editor of this. It sounds intriguing, especially once you see the author list: Anne McCaffrey, Marion Zimmer Bradley, Jane Yolen... these are some big names.
The collection is disturbing (so says our brave reviewer), so be sure to read jezelbelsk's review carefully.
